Tryouts for Spring 2022 Medford Renegades Travel Baseball will be held on October 17th at the Hartford Crossing complex fields 1 and 2. Below are the time slots for each age.

In order to accommodate players with other sports conflicts, we have added two make-up times if you cannot attend your appropriate age time slot on 10/17.

7U: Tryouts will be held in Spring 2022.
8U: 10-11:30am
9U: 11:30-1:00pm
10U: 1:00-2:30pm
11U: 2:30-4:00pm
12U: 4-5:30pm

Sunday 10/17 make-up 5:30-7:00
Monday 10/18 make-up 5:30-7:00

Players will be evaluated and receive scores in throwing, fielding, hitting and pitching. Multiple travel coaches from different age groups will be scoring each player. All efforts will be made to select teams within 2-3 weeks after tryouts.
The number of travel teams at each age group will depend on the number of participants. Beginners are welcome.

The age cutoff at each level is May 1, so the oldest birthdays allowed are

7u- May 1, 2014 (tryouts in Spring)
8u - May 1, 2013
9u - May 1, 2012
10u - May 1, 2011
11u - May 1, 2010
12u - May 1, 2009

All players must attend the scheduled tryout time for their respective age group. If you have an unmovable conflict, please contact Jim Juliano at baseball@myaa.net

Although tryouts are free, registration is mandatory through myaa.net

Some information about what travel baseball entails:

- Travel season typically begins around Memorial Day and ends early to mid July.
- Travel is mostly local and consists of at least three Friday-Sunday weekend tournaments held in neighboring towns such as Delran, Cherry Hill, Sacred Heart, etc.
- Coaches also schedule weekday practices and scrimmages.
- Players are required to buy team uniforms that have their last name on back.
- Teams may elect to hold indoor Winter workouts once per week.
- Skill level and competition is higher at the travel level, but the goal remains to have fun and learn the game
