Special Tribute to Danny Hill

As many know, the Medford baseball community recently lost one of our own. In December, Danny Hill passed away at the age of 21 after heroically battling Osteosarcoma for almost 8 years. Danny played both MYAA youth and Shawnee high school baseball.
In honor of Danny, the Medford baseball program has designed and will give every Medford travel baseball player a Danny Hill Memorial practice shirt. Over 150 travel players and coaches will represent Danny’s memory by wearing his #24 at practices.
These shirts are also available for sale to anyone who would like one at our new online store. Orders must be placed by March 27, when the store will close and items will go into production for April delivery. All items will be available for pickup at the Hartford Crossing baseball clubhouse once they arrive.

In partnership with the Hill family, Medford baseball will donate $5 from every memorial shirt sold to Michael’s Way. This foundation helps pediatric cancer families with non-medical bills and hosts many events for the children and families battling cancer. They are involved with all of the pediatric hospitals around our area.
Thank you to the Hill family for allowing us to pay this tribute to their son. We are here to support you in any way we can.
