Medford Baseball Opening Day on Saturday, April 22rd is almost here. We look forward to seeing everyone. It’s a great experience and a lot of fun for the kids. All players are announced onto the field and run through a “high five” line of older players.
We will also a have music, special awards, VFW Color Guard, National Anthem, ceremonial first pitch, food concessions and all of this is followed by lots of baseball. It’s going to be a great day.

Location: Hartford Crossing ShopRite Baseball Complex, 120 Church Road
10:15am - All teams arrive at the main Hartford Crossing ShopRite complex and gather around the outside of Field 1 (map below shows which area your division will gather). All players should wear their full Rec uniform.
11:00am - Announcement of players (oldest to youngest) as they run onto Field 1 through a “high five” line.
11:30am - Once all players are announced we will all face a Medford fire truck hanging the American flag for the National Anthem.
11:35am - Special awards and ceremonial first pitch.
12:00pm - Baseball begins. Some age groups will be playing games and some will be holding home run derby / skills competitions.
